Burning your beeswax candle
For the best burn, trim the wick to approximately 6mm before lighting. Place the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant surface or suitable candle holder. Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and other debris, and avoid burning in draughty areas.
Tall, slender candles should always be securely fitted into a suitable candle holder or candle spike before lighting. Ensure the candle is upright, stable and cannot fall or tip while burning.
Natural beeswax candles can drip depending on their shape and burning conditions, so always protect the surface beneath the candle.
Candle safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything that could catch fire. Remove all packaging before lighting. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time and stop burning when approximately 1cm of wax remains.
